I have the pleasure to share today a guide that I made a long time ago, but of which I am quite proud because it was my first contributions to this blog.
And since I have not published it yet, you have it to download it and see if it helps you in something. The guide is aimed at those who come to blogs for the first time but you may discover something you did not know, you never know.
This weekend has changed the time to adapt to the call " summer time " in Spain, and with so much vortex of Wordcamp Dallas and WordPress 2.5 ] the same has happened to you to change the time.
If you live in one of the countries that change the time from winter to summer, and vice versa, you will have verified that your computer was updated correctly yesterday and now it would be updated with respect to UTC. Now, WordPress is not updated only and you must do it manually.
To do this you must go to the tab Options> General of your administration panel and adjust the difference of your schedule local to UTC shown in the panel. In my case, to show the local time adapted to the winter schedule in Spain, I had to put it that way.
As you can see I have added 2 hours of adjustment and when we return to the schedule of Winter will have to be put in 1 hour difference for Spain, but we'll let you know in case you forget.
By the way, this is the same for WordPress installed as for WordPress.com so you're still a time.
Chris Silver Smith is talking about SEO for bloggers in WordCamp Dallas 2008. Among other recommendations he tells us to use the SEO Title Tag plugin, the ultimate TagWarrior plugin, we use some post plugin related to the post we publish implement the standard page 301 for the redirection from tublog.com to www.tublog.com.
The dissertation by Chris Smith, of Netconcepts, about SEO for bloggers was postponed for later and at this moment Aaron Brazell of Technosailor and technological Director of b5media, is telling us about WordPress Faq. It informs us that it is updated with new questions.
Right now we are in the first part of the second day of WordCamp Dallas 2008. Now they are recording the 40th program of the famous The WordPress Podcast, directed by Charles Stricklin and some of the guests at the panel are Matt Mullenweg, Jonathan Bailey and Mark Jaquith. The public at the same time that is testing the new version 2.5 of WordPress, asks questions, which are answered by the panel.
