Twitter on your WordPress, and your WordPress on Twitter. • WordPress Help

For quite some time I wanted to integrate Twitter into my blog.

Fernando had already recommended several plugins, and today, reading in DailySEOblog an entry on Twitter, I decided once and for all, the question was to choose the candidate.

I decided on Twitter Tools, by Alex King, because of his excellent reviews.

Well, it ] I downloaded from the official site.

And you know, unzip, upload via FTP to the Plugins folder …

And Activate it from the Plugins Panel.

After that, it would be time to configure it.

To do this, I went to Options – Twitter Tools.

Here's the fun.

Well, the first two lines, User and Password of our Tw itter

Then, we can check if the connection is made (Test Login info)

Perhaps the most important option I saw is:

"Create a tweet when your post in your blog"

If we enable this option, the plugin directly posts what we wrote in our blog on Twitter, something similar to what it does Twittterfeed (that's why part of the title is WordPress on your Twitter )

The plugin can be inserted into a Sidebar in the form of a Widget.

As I am not very fond of Widgets and I wanted to insert it in the header of my blog, I had to insert the following code (taken ] of the readme of the plugin):

Then I touched the CSS a bit to make it look like the blog.

Result:

] 1 "border =" 0 "height =" 119 "width =" 454 "/> </a> </p>
<p> Any questions about the other options, nad better than <a href= our forum 😉

NOTICE : this publication is from two years ago or more. If it's a code or a plugin it might not work in the latest versions of WordPress, and if it's a news story it might be obsolete. Then do not say we have not warned you.
