We will do all this with a plugin jewel that has come out nothing, FIA & AMP by PageFrog .

Once installed the first thing is to activate the modules that we want to manage, namely:

  • Google AMP
  • Facebook Instant Articles

At this point, if your site already had the AMP plugin installed, it will identify you and inform you that you are ready. In the case of Facebook Instant Articles you have to start the configuration by clicking on the button Begin Setup which opens a window in which you will find a link ( this ) to request access as a publisher (ugly word) to Facebook.

To have it active you will have to wait for Facebook to approve it, so for the time being we continue with the rest of the features of this nice plugin.

Yes you already have an FIA profile active you will have to go to the publication tools of your Facebook page and configure the connection, but we will see it in detail another day.

Customize the appearance of the AMP and FIA pages

As I was saying, once active, at least AMP, the next thing that the body asks us is to give a bit of style to our AMP pages so we'll go to the submenu Styling plugin, where you'll find a lot of adjustments to personalize them:

  • Typography, separator and header logo
  • Typographies, links and style of citations in the content
  • Typography for the footer

In passing gives you a preview, both for AMP as for FIA.
